Everyone attending training is provided with a Naloxone.

The course will cover the core areas of drug-related deaths on a global, national and local scale, opioid-related overdose prevention and explore methods and models of community-based delivery and adult learning.
There will be an in-depth look at naloxone, its actions, kit assembly and administration with specific attention to overdose intervention and basic life support with naloxone.

Who is this training for: This training is for anyone working in a service and will be responsible for supplying naloxone to individuals – ensuring the person they are supplying naloxone to are trained in recognising and responding effectively to a suspected overdose.

This course aims to equip participants with knowledge and skills to deliver an Alcohol Brief Intervention (ABI).
Brief interventions are not overly complex and can be delivered by professionals in a range of health and social care settings once training requirements have been met.
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
Who is this training for: This training is for anyone working in a service and will be responsible for conducting Alcohol Brief Interventions (ABIs) and recording the number of ABIs conducted.
