Inverclyde Recovery Community

The Alcohol and Drug Partnership (ADP) are proud to commission a recovery community that serves all members of the recovery community in Inverclyde.

This service is delivered in partnership between Your Voice and Moving On Inverclyde.

The ethos of this service is that people can and do recover from drug and alcohol problems. The recovery community service offers a range of support, interventions and activities such as:

  • Access to a recovery hub that provides a range of activities and supports to people in recovery.
  • An early intervention course that offers a programme approach to provide people with the skills to maintain their recovery.
  • A peer support model whereby people with lived experience support participants on each step of their recovery journey.

The recovery community service is delivered across a range of different locations across the whole Inverclyde area. The recovery service is trauma informed and works hard to challenge stigma in all its forms.

The service works towards its key values of being non-judgemental, respectful, open, compassionate, trustworthy and inclusive.

The recovery community service recognises that there are different stages in a recovery pathway and each person’s recovery journey will be unique. The service follows a pathway that has been developed by the Inverclyde Lived Experience Network.

The recovery community service accepts referrals from a number of sources which includes self referral and also referrals from a range of different organisations and services.

The service is delivered jointly by Your Voice and Moving On Inverclyde. A range of staff are employed through this service including a co-ordinator who is employed by Your Voice. To contact the team about any aspect of this service, please contact:
