Founded in 1984, Re-Solv is the charity working across Scotland to raise awareness of solvent use.
Training for gas and solvent use
Re-Solv delivers training on gas and solvent use to services and support groups across Scotland. With over 35 years of experience in this field, we offer training free thanks to funding from the Corra Foundation.
These sessions are aimed at anyone with an interest in updating their knowledge around gases and inhalants that are currently in use, but especially youth workers, addiction workers, housing support workers, recovery groups, teachers, parents and carers.
Session will cover:
- Understand what volatile substances are used today
- Know what products are used for inhalation
- Understand the broad dangers associated with gases and solvents
- A look at mortality rates and trends
- Take away key messages and harm reduction
- Understand Supply Side Legislation
When: Thursday 19th November, 2pm-4pm.
